This policy applies to all KickAss Fridge/Freezers purchased March 10, 2025 and beyond.
Kickass Products Fridge/Freezer - Limited Warranty Conditions
At Kickass Products, we are committed to providing high-quality Fridge/Freezers designed for reliable performance. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced, within the warranty period, if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
You must produce the sales receipt of the product as proof of purchase when a warranty claim is made, otherwise, KickAss Products will not be liable to replace or repair a product.
Fridge/Freezer – 5 Year Limited Warranty
KickAss Products offers a 5-Year Limited Warranty on our portable fridge/freezers, ensuring our customers receive reliable and high-quality products for their off-grid adventures. The warranty period is structured as follows:
Warranty Coverage
- Years 1-3: Full coverage for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Years 4-5: Limited coverage for manufacturing defects in major functional components (excluding specific components and accessories)..
Limited Coverage Exclusions
The following components and accessories are not covered within the limited coverage years:
- Wear & Tear Components: Seals, power sockets.
- Cosmetic: Exterior panels, lids, hinges, feet, labels, handles, latches.
- Accessories: Power cables, baskets, covers.
The Portable Fridge/Freezer Warranty Does NOT Cover
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or minor performance variations.
- Physical damage, neglect, or abuse.
- Any damage resulting from improper use or neglect.
- Incorrect application, installation, modifications or improper maintenance.
- Power supply issues – damage resulting from voltage drop, incompatible supply, or surges.
- Damage caused by mould, insects, animals, misuse, incorrect operation, accidents.
- Environmental Damage - damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, water, chemicals, or sand/dust ingress beyond intended use.
Costs or Losses:
- Any loss directly or indirectly associated with the product failing to operate.
- Testing by a third party, unless written consent is provided by KickAss Products.
- Removing and or reinstalling the product.
- Travel expenses to collect or drop off a warranted item.
- Damage in transit or lost items (customer organised freight).
This policy is in effect alongside the KickAss Products Warranty Terms.
