This Low Profile Fridge Slide - Small is designed to suit 35L to 50L fridges.

Important: Always measure your fridge's external footprint and compare it with the slide's internal tray dimensions (668mm L x 456mm W) to ensure a correct fit. You can also use the Fridge Slide Compatibility widget on the product page for guidance.

Pre-Installation Checks:

• Measure for Clearance: Check your mounting location against both the retracted (763 mm) and fully extended (1359 mm) length of the slide to ensure it clears tailgates, canopy doors, and other obstacles.
• Structural Integrity: The mounting surface must be flat, structurally sound, and capable of supporting the combined weight of the slide (13 kg) and a fully loaded fridge (up to 80 kg).
• Check Underneath: Before drilling, inspect the area beneath the mounting surface for any fuel lines, electrical wiring, brake lines, or chassis supports to avoid damage.
• Fridge Ventilation: Ensure your installation allows for adequate ventilation space around the fridge.

1. Place the slide base on your chosen flat mounting surface, ensuring there is enough clearance for full extension.
2. Disengage the lock and fully extend the slide tray to reveal the mounting slots on the base frame.
3. Mark Holes: Use a marker to mark the drilling points on your mounting surface through the pre-drilled slots.
4. Remove the slide and carefully drill the marked holes. Clean away any debris.
5. Secure the Slide: Re-align the slide frame over the holes and secure it using the included mounting hardware (screws, nuts, T-nuts, washers). Tighten all bolts uniformly.
6. Test Operation: Before mounting the fridge, test the extension and locking mechanisms to verify smooth travel and positive lock engagement.

• Tighten the straps until the fridge is held firmly against the tray. Apply even tension on all straps to prevent shifting.
• Ensure the straps do not rub against sharp edges, block cooling vents, or pinch the 12V power cable.
• After your first off-road drive, re-check the strap tension, as they can shift or stretch slightly.

To Open / Extend:

1. Pull the locking lever upward to release the safety lock.
2. Press down on the main handle while pulling the slide tray outward until it reaches its full extension and locks in the open position.

To Close / Retract:

1. Push the slide tray straight back into the housing until it automatically clicks and locks into the closed position.
2. Push the locking lever down into the locked position. Always ensure the locking lever is pushed down into the fully locked position before operating the vehicle to secure the fridge and prevent accidental movement.

1. Mounting Bolts: The most common cause is loose mounting bolts. Verify that all screws, nuts, and washers securing the slide base to your vehicle are tightened securely.
2. Fridge Straps: Ensure the tie-down straps holding your fridge to the tray are fully tensioned. A loose fridge will cause rattling and movement.
3. Lock Engagement: Make sure the positive locking mechanism is fully engaging with an audible click when the slide is closed. Debris in the mechanism can prevent a secure lock.
4. Mounting Surface: Check that the surface the slide is mounted to is not flexing or moving. A non-rigid floor can lead to movement and noise.
