How long is the data cable?

The length of the cable provided is 3 meters. Should you wish to purchase a longer RJ11 cable you can do so at an electronics store, KickAss do not sell individual cables of this type.  

Can I use this remote display unit on all KickAss inverters?

No, this remote display is only compatible with the latest Blue Series of KickAss inverters (KAPSWI2000, KAPSWI3000).
