This adaptor allows you to safely connect a caravan or motorhome equipped with a 15A power plug to a standard 10A / 240V socket. It is ideal for charging your onboard batteries, powering low-draw appliances, or testing your setup at home before a trip.

The maximum continuous load is 10 Amps or 2400 Watts. You must not exceed this rating.

Do not use this device to power multiple high-draw appliances simultaneously, such as air conditioners, electric kettles, heaters, or large power tools, as this will overload the circuit and trip the safety switch.

Yes, the adaptor has an IP55 weatherproof rating. This means it is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water splashes from any direction. It is suitable for outdoor use around caravans and campsites but should not be submerged in water.

WARNING: You must perform this safety test before every use to ensure the RCBO is functional. Do not connect your caravan until the test is complete.

1. Plug the adaptor cord directly into a standard 240V wall socket and switch the wall outlet ON.
2. Open the clear protective cover on the adaptor.
3. Push the blue actuator lever fully upward into the ON position.
4. Firmly press the small blue button marked with a 'T' (for Test).
5. The blue lever must instantly and completely snap downward into the OFF position.

If the lever snaps down, the safety switch is working correctly. Push the lever back up to prepare the adaptor for use. If the lever does not snap down, DO NOT USE THE ADAPTOR. Disconnect it immediately and contact KickAss support.

1. First, successfully perform the RCBO safety test as described above.
2. Ensure the adaptor is plugged into a live 240V household wall outlet.
3. Press the side button on the adaptor housing to release and open the main socket cover.
4. Firmly insert your caravan's 15A power lead into the internal 15A socket.
5. Close the clear socket cover until it clicks securely into place to maintain the IP55 weatherproof seal.
6. Monitor your power usage inside the caravan to ensure the total load does not exceed 10A / 2400W.

Always disconnect the unit from all power sources before cleaning.

• Test Regularly: Perform the RCBO safety switch test before every use.
• Clean Externally: Wipe the exterior with a clean, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Keep Sockets Dry: Never allow moisture inside the electrical sockets. If the unit gets wet, allow it to air-dry completely before use.
• Inspect for Damage: Regularly check the housing, covers, and power cord for any signs of cracks, frays, or damage. Discontinue use immediately if damage is found.
• Store Properly: When not in use, store the adaptor in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Check the following in order:

1. Ensure the 10A socket is switched ON.
2. Check that the blue RCBO lever on the adaptor is flipped up to the ON position.
3. Check and reset any internal circuit breakers or RCDs inside your caravan or RV.

The issue is likely related to one of the following:

• Overload: You are exceeding the 10A / 2400W limit. Turn off high-power appliances like air conditioners, heaters, or kettles. The RCBO is functioning correctly to protect the household circuit.
• Faulty Appliance: One of your caravan's appliances may have an earth fault. Unplug all appliances and turn them on one by one to isolate which one is causing the trip.

First, ensure the adaptor is plugged into a live wall socket that is switched ON. The test button requires power to function. If the test still fails while connected to a confirmed live power source, the safety switch is faulty. Stop using the adapter immediately and contact KickAss support for assistance.
