The 300W Air Fryer is designed to run directly from a 12V DC power source. It consumes a maximum of 300W and has a continuous current draw of 22A to 25A. The integrated power cable uses heavy-duty 12AWG wiring and terminates in a 50A Anderson-style plug for a secure, high-current connection.

NO. This is a critical safety warning. You must never use a cigarette lighter socket or a Cig-to-Anderson adapter to power this unit. Standard vehicle cigarette sockets are typically only rated for 10A to 15A. Forcing a 22A-25A load through these sockets will overload the circuit, melt the internal wiring, and create a severe electrical fire hazard.

Always connect the factory 50A Anderson-style plug directly to a high-current 12V DC power source, such as a battery box, power station, or control hub with an appropriately rated Anderson outlet.

Due to the high continuous current draw (22A-25A), the 300W Air Fryer will quickly drain smaller auxiliary batteries. Before planning extended operation, verify that your battery bank has enough capacity to handle this load for your desired cooking time.

Yes. For your protection, the 3L Air Fryer comes with a pre-installed 40A inline fuse on the power cable. This protects your vehicle's electrical system from short circuits and overloads. Do not bypass, resize, or remove this fuse.

The 300W Air Fryer has a 3 litre capacity, ideal for singles, couples, snacks or small meals.

No. One of the key features of the 300W Air Fryer is its direct 12V connection, allowing it to operate from a compatible 12V battery system without the need for a power inverter.

This is a mandatory step for performance and safety.

1. Remove the basket and crisper plate. Wash them in warm, soapy water with a non-abrasive sponge, then dry completely.
2. Perform Initial Burn-Off: Place the empty air fryer in a well-ventilated area. Connect it to a suitable 12V power source, set the temperature to 200°C, and set the timer for 10-15 minutes.
   Note: It is normal to notice a slight odour or faint smoke during this first run. This is the protective coating on the heating element burning off and is not a fault.

• Temperature Selection: Rotate the top dial clockwise to your desired cooking temperature (80°C to 200°C).
• Setting the Timer: Turn the timer dial clockwise to your desired cooking time (up to 60 minutes). This action immediately starts the heating element and fan.
• Note for short cook times: For times under 10 minutes, you must turn the timer dial past the 10-minute mark first, then turn it back counter-clockwise to your desired time. This ensures the mechanical timer engages correctly.

Yes. The 300W Air Fryer has a basket safety interlock. 

Removing the basket automatically pauses the heating element and fan. Push the basket fully back in to resume cooking, and the cycle will continue until the timer finishes.

Always disconnect the Anderson plug and allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning.

• Basket & Crisper Plate: Hand-wash these removable parts in warm, soapy water with a soft sponge. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners, as this will damage the non-stick coating.
• Wipe the outside of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  Important: Never submerge the main unit, power cable, or plug in water or any other liquid. Ensure all parts are fully dry before storing in the carry bag.
  

1. Ensure the 50A Anderson-style plug is fully and securely pushed into a live, high-current 12V socket.
2. Power Source: Check that your battery box or power hub switch is ON. Verify that your battery has sufficient charge to handle the 22A-25A load; a low battery may not be able to supply the required current.
3. The cooking basket must be pushed completely into the housing to engage the internal safety interlock.
4. Both the Temperature and Timer dials must be turned away from the "0" position.

This is most likely due to one of two reasons:

• Depleted Battery: The 12V power source has run out of charge and can no longer supply the required 22A-25A.
• Blown Fuse: The integrated 40A inline fuse has blown due to a current spike or fault. Disconnect the unit and inspect the fuse. If the filament is broken, replace it with an identical 40A blade fuse only. If the issue persists, contact KickAss Support.

This is usually caused by overcrowding the basket. For best results, do not overfill the 3L basket of the 300W Air Fryer. Halfway through the cooking time, pull the basket out and shake the contents or flip items over to ensure all sides are evenly cooked and crisped.
