What is the difference between this 120Ah Lithium Battery and the 120Ah Smart version?

The 120Ah Lithium Battery offers the same power and protection features as the smart version but comes at a more budget-friendly price. It does not include internal communications data or Bluetooth capability. However, you can easily monitor battery data using a battery shunt, like our KickAss 500A Shunt. 

Does the KickAss 120Ah Lithium Battery have an inbuilt BMS?

It definitely does. The inbuilt Battery Management System (BMS) offers great protection, safeguarding your battery from overcharging, over-discharging, short circuits, and overheating. 

Can you connect the KickAss 120Ah Lithium Batteries in parallel or series?

Yes you can connect the 120Ah Lithium Batteries (SKU KA12120XB-LION) in either parallel or series. Please ensure that you charge the batteries to full individually, prior to connecting in parallel or series. You can monitor the battery bank using the KickAss 500A Shunt. 

How much does a KickAss 120ah Lithium Battery weigh?

The battery weighs just 11.5kg, that's a weight saving of 19.5kg compared to our AGM 120ah standard battery. 

What remote display can you pair with a KickAss 120ah Lithium Battery?

You can pair the KickAss 500A Battery Shunt with Remote Display to the 120Ah Lithium Battery.

Can the 120ah Lithium Battery be placed on its side?

Yes! Due to the nature and structure of KickAss Lithium Batteries, you can safely place them on their side. This flexibility is great as it broadens your installation options.
