This policy applies to all KickAss AGM Batteries purchased March 10, 2025 and beyond.

Kickass Products AGM Batteries - Limited Warranty Conditions

At Kickass Products, we are committed to providing high-quality AGM batteries designed for reliable performance. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced, within the warranty period, if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. 

You must produce the sales receipt of the product as proof of purchase when a warranty claim is made, otherwise, KickAss Products will not be liable to replace or repair a product.

Warranty Coverage

Under normal usage conditions, this warranty covers:

• Any defects in materials or workmanship that result in the battery failing to perform as specified.
• Repair or replacement of a defective battery at our discretion.

Warranty Period – 5 Year Limited Pro Rata

• 0-12 months: Full replacement (Manufacturer Warranty).
• 13-24 months: Credit with a 20% pro-rata fee of the purchase price.
• 25-36 months: Credit with a 40% pro-rata fee of the purchase price.
• 37-48 months: Credit with a 60% pro-rata fee of the purchase price.
• 49-60 months: Credit with an 80% pro-rata fee of the purchase price.

Example - 30 months post purchase: $250 (Purchase Price) – $100 fee (250*40%) = $150 credit

Pro-Rata Warranty Conditions

All Pro-rata warranties are issued as store credit in the form of a gift card, which will expire at the end of the original warranty period. Refunds are not available under Pro-Rata.

When purchasing a new battery under the Pro Rata Scheme, the warranty period will reset according to the warranty terms of the newly purchased product.

The AGM Battery Warranty Does NOT Cover

• Any battery discharged below 10.8V.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Physical damage, neglect, or abuse.
• Undercharging or overcharging.
• Any damage resulting from improper use.
• Incorrect application, installation, modifications or maintenance.
• When stored in a discharged state for an extended period.
• When used in under bonnet or areas of high ambient temperature more than 45 degrees.
• Damage caused by mould, insects, animals, misuse, incorrect operation, adverse weather, accidents.
• Batteries used in motorsport, racing, golf buggies, or mobility scooters.
• Connecting batteries of different brands, capacities, sizes, or ages together.
• When used for cranking vehicles with battery attached to starter motors.

Costs or Losses:

• Any loss directly or indirectly associated with the product failing to operate. 
• Testing of a battery by a third party, unless written consent is provided by KickAss Products. 
• Removing and or reinstalling the product.
• Travel expenses to collect or drop off a warranted item.
• Damage in transit or lost items (customer organised freight).
